I bought the bed assist bar to keep my husband’s feet and legs from falling off the unrailed part of his hospital bed. It was easy to assemble, easily slides under the mattress, the legs help hold it securely in place so he can’t kick it away, and it is perfect for what we needed. I added a little padding, including a pillow. It was a cheap, effective remedy for the situation. I move it to my bed to get it out of the way when not in use on his bed. It does works great helping get in & out of bed…..I did check it out on my bed.
This was easy to assemble. Stays put under the mattress. And sturdy enough to help Mom lift herself up in bed. She uses the side pocket for tissues and her glasses. Easy to change sheets around it-without needing to remove it. It’s a good size without being confining or obtrusive.
We have bought three of these. Mom, dad, aunt. All three have been great. Works great for helping them get out of the bed.
Purchased two of these. They're easy to put together and they're somewhat sturdy. Note that if you've got a bed frame that has side rails, this won't be flush up against the mattress and may not be as sturdy. These work for my family's needs.
