Dogs are afraid of using this ramp when they getting old or injured, so they need more trainning and will get rid of it.
- Step 1: Place the ramp flat on the ground to allow your pet to inspect the ramp. Lead your dog across using treats and praise. Give treats frequently to encourage your pet. Remember that this is a new experience for your pet, so patience is key!
- Step 2: Once your pet is comfortable with the ramp, move your training session to the vehicle or location that will be used.
- Step 3: Using treats and praise frequently, guide your pet up and down the ramp until they are happy and comfortable walking on their own.
- Step 4: When your pet is walking up and down the ramp independently, treats are no longer needed unless desired. Pack up your ramp and hit the road!

This ramp was great for my two dachshunds. They are very skittish and I shad not found one they would use but they took to this ramp really quickly. It’s designed with raised ridges that allows them a better grip, and raised slats for stability! Also it’s a softer material than I have found, much nicer on their paws!
I got the extra large one. My little dogs keep rolling down the car ramp when they try to run up...this is something you can make on your own, yet this is cheaper than the cost of supplies and time to make it;) This one is about two inches wider than the car ramp I was using and the extra little steps all along the way will make it easier for the dogs to have a step to use to stay balanced and still moving upwards. My dogs are giving it mixed reviews, in that one dog loves it, he's older and very used to me trying to make things for him to run up to the bed.....the other dog is a newer rescue and needs to be convinced that he will like anything ;). I am sure this one will come around too:). Mom loves it, even though it takes up the entire side of the bed, its not about mom, it's about the fur kids!
Good quality. Good price! My dog has leg problem and didn't want him jumping up and down off of the couch. Didn't think he'd use it, but after a day or two, he freely started using it. Would buy again!
Nice and sturdy, my dog is using it that's what matter the most, we tried other brand before but it was wobbly and my dog refused to use it, this one works. Well built, the carpet is nice not a dangerous sand paper other brand used.
